Youth and Employment

In this November 2012 KIDS COUNT policy report, the Casey Foundation finds that nearly 6.5 million U.S. teens and young adults are neither in school nor in the workforce. This 16-page report explores the economic impact of teen and youth unemployment, the challenges youth ages 16 to 24 face in searching for jobs, and the benefits of investing in jobs for this demographic.
